How to Make a Facility Service Scope of Work

1. Deliverables

The deliverables are the outcomes that the client expects you to complete for the services they pay for you to do. Your deliverables are tangible products such as reports. This is where it reflects all the duties you completed. Other deliverables you’re expected to provide are:  

  • An accurate list of assets inventory such as the list of every location that all assets are present in and all the equipment, tools, and machines present in the building:

2. Timeline

The timeline is important to include in the scope of work since it will chronologically show when the work will start and when it will end. This is also used as your basis on when you will deliver your deliverables to your client and complete your work. When making the timeline, it should have a schedule of the duration of the work and how often you’ll do it in a week or a month. Use a timeline chart where you can organize your schedule well.  

3. Duties and Responsibilities

This section is where you list down your duties and responsibilities as a facility manager. Be specific in identifying your responsibilities so your client will know all the tasks you’re doing to manage the facility.
