Everyone has some sort of bucket list. It is an actual or a mental list we make on the things that we want to accomplish before we hit the hay for good. Some might be to travel to every country in the world, others may be to be able to do extreme sports such as bungee jumping or sky diving. The point is simple: we want to live longer to be able to save the right amount of money and courage to do all those things.

That is why it is important to take care of our health. After all, one of the factors that can give us the opportunity to live better and longer is our well-being. And one of the ways that one can know of one’s health is through school. So, if you are a health teacher, consider yourself lucky; below are Sample Plans you can download or free.

A lesson plan is a document that contains a teacher’s comprehensive presentation of his/her class discussion. It has different types and therefore takes different forms, but some of its most fundamental parts are the following:

  • Objectives – this contains the goals of the teachers on the skills and lessons they sought their students to learn. Some objectives have three domains: the cognitive, the affective, and the psychomotor.
  • Materials – these are the items or things necessary in carrying out the lesson. These can be in a form of books or references, handouts, papers, cutouts, etc.
  • Presentation or Procedure – the step-by-step processes of the activities between the teacher and the students.
  • Assessment – this is the teacher’s method of evaluating whether the students have learned anything from the class. This is tailored according to the objectives, whether they were achieved or not.
  • Reflection – take note of the successes and shortcomings of the lesson.

To be aware of our health is important. Most of the things that we do can affect our health—the food that we eat, the beverages that we drink, even the activities that we do every single day, all of which have consequences to our well-being. It is essential that people become aware as early as being in school, especially since kids nowadays are already exposed to lifestyle choice. Health education can help them make decisions, whether to lead and live a healthier lifestyle or not.

There is a very common saying that goes, “Health is wealth.” A person can better enjoy the joys in life when he/she is healthy. Thus, you have to instill to your students the importance of taking care of one’s self. This can be done through a balanced diet, proper exercise, drink lots of glasses of water, get enough hours of sleep, and just be happy.
