A film production proposal is a detailed, lengthy, written document to pitch a film. Film Synopsis

Logline

The logline is where you basically pitch your film to movie executives and producers. In 30 seconds or less, you have to describe the main concept of your script.

Structured Screenplay

A screenplay is usually made up of 3 acts. The beginning, the conflict, and the resolution. Provide a brief and legible summary of each act and the scenes that are in it. Use pictures to support your discussion. Also, introduce your characters. Describe them in detail; their physical appearance, their personalities, and motivation. Describe how essential they are in your film.

After establishing your character/s, who do you see playing that character? Which actor do you see that could deliver the character well? Production Crew

If you’re making a short horror film, your audience will be most likely teenagers and adults. Knowing your demographics helps smooth out your film’s script since you will know how you can market and publicize your film to your audience.

This is the grittier, less fun part of your film proposal but also important. To start your production, you need to know what resources your production needs.
